We invite shoppers, environmental and climate justice organizations, public health organizations, labor allies, and friends of all kinds to join us in our mission to bring clean, zero-emissions ships to the high seas.
Ship It Zero is a climate and public health campaign to move the world’s largest retail companies to 100% zero-emission maritime shipping.
Ship It Zero is pressuring four of America’s largest retailers—Amazon, IKEA, Target and Walmart—to take the following actions:

Abandon Dirty Ships

Set Sail First

Put Zero at the Helm
Ship It Zero is an alliance of environmental organizations including Pacific Environment, STAND.earth, and Sort Your Ship Out, all dedicated to advancing real climate solutions for a zero-emissions shipping sector. But we’re not alone—shoppers are ready to hold corporations accountable for their shipping pollution:
A consumer poll by Yale University, George Mason University, and Climate Nexus found that 70% of consumers would continue to shop at brands even if using clean ships raised the prices of that brand’s goods. 74% of consumers would be more likely to shop at companies that use cleaner ways to ship their goods. 84% of consumers thought that the shipping industry should be doing more to reduce the environmental impacts of shipping goods around the world.
